Take an early-morning flight to Ölgii. Upon arrival, set off directly toward the Altai Tavan Bogd Mountains. Enjoy a scenic drive through dramatic landscapes of rugged mountains and wide, open valleys.
Enjoy moderate day hikes through the foothills of the Altai Mountains, surrounded by glaciers and alpine meadows. You may also visit vibrant wildflower fields and stunning scenic spots—perfect opportunities for photography.

Experience an authentic demonstration, including the release and recall of the eagle—and, if conditions allow, observe a small hunt.
Begin the day with an early-morning eagle hunting experience (subject to local permissions, habitat, and prey availability). In the afternoon, return to Ölgii and unwind at a comfortable hotel, resting and reflecting on the adventures of the past few days.
After breakfast, drive toward Tolbo Lake, with a brief stop for a picnic lunch along the way. Continue the journey toward the Tsambagarav Mountains, known for their striking glaciers. Enjoy short hikes at the foothills, taking in the dramatic mountain scenery and pristine natural surroundings.
It’s time to say goodbye to Western Mongolia and fly back to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival, you will check back into your hotel. The rest of the day is flexible—you can relax, explore the city center on foot, or enjoy a nice dinner. Tipping in Mongolia is not as common or expected as it is in some other countries. Here are a few general guidelines: - Restaurants and Cafes: Tipping is not expected, but if you receive exceptional service, leaving a small amount (around 5-10% of the bill) is appreciated - Hotels: Bellboys and housekeeping staff do not generally expect tips, but you can give them a small amount if you feel they have provided excellent service - Tour Guides and Drivers: It's more customary to tip tour guides and drivers if they have provided a good service. A reasonable tip would be around $5-10 per day for guides and $3-5 per day for drivers - Taxis: Tipping taxi drivers is not customary, but rounding up the fare to the nearest 100 or 500 MNT is a nice gesture Overall, tipping in Mongolia is more about showing appreciation for good service rather than an obligation
