PANGAEA Camp: Where the Desert Comes Alive

There's a moment, usually somewhere between leaving the city and arriving at camp, when you notice the silence. The highway noise fades, the skyline disappears, and suddenly it's just you, the sand, and a horizon that feels like it goes on forever. That's the moment PANGAEA Camp begins.

A Setting Unlike Any Other

Tucked inside the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve on the edges of Riyadh, the camp sits right in the middle of golden sand dunes that stretch as far as you can see. It sounds dramatic until you actually get there and realize — no, it really does look like that. And the drive out is easier than you'd expect; any car can make it, which means no excuses.

An Evening That Has Everything

The night moves slowly here, and that's kind of the point. You settle around a bonfire as the desert starts to cool down, grab some food, pour yourself a cup of Arabic coffee, and let the conversation go wherever it wants. Nobody's rushing anywhere.

Once the sky gets dark enough, one of the guides walks you through what's above you — and if you've only ever seen stars from inside the city, this will genuinely stop you in your tracks. The Milky Way hits differently in the desert. Between that and the board games and group activities that run through the night, it's the kind of evening where you look up and realize it's suddenly 1am.

Something for Everyone

The camp holds up to 300 people, which means it works whether you're planning a corporate retreat, a family night out, or just want to rent the whole thing for something private. They'll adapt it to whatever you need.

And the lineup throughout the winter season keeps things fresh — sandboarding, sand trekking, yoga, camel riding, horseback riding, archery, treasure hunts, even outdoor cinema nights. It's not one of those places you visit once and feel like you've seen it all.

Everything comes included — dinner, refreshments, drinks, and guides who actually know what they're doing — so there's nothing to figure out on your end..

The Spirit of PANGAEA

At its core, PANGAEA Camp is about community. It's a space where outdoor enthusiasts find their people, where families disconnect from screens and reconnect with each other, and where companies can build real team bonds in a setting that no conference room could ever replicate. The desert has a way of stripping things back to what matters — and PANGAEA Camp is built around exactly that.
